Cricket is back! Ventnor this Easter weekend begins its series of pre-season friendlies with the prestigious visit of the Worcestershire County Cricket Club Women’s Team.
In total, Steephill will stage three matches against the visiting County side. Our teams will include both men and women and be captained by Alex Barton.
The schedule is as follows:
- Friday 3rd (Good Friday), 50 overs a side, starting 11:30
- Sunday 5th (Easter Sunday), two T20s beginning respectively at 11:30 and 2:30pm.
Bar ‘Happy Hour’ Too!
And as an incentive, the bar will also reopen for the new season on Friday (1 pm -3 pm) with a special ‘Happy Hour’ and open again on Sunday (ditto 1 pm – 3 pm).
