Season 2025 comes to a close with the club’s Annual Awards Afternoon & Evening at Steephill on Saturday 4th October –  a celebration of individual and team achievements on and off the field throughout what was our 175th anniversary year.

Here is the full running order of the day.  Bar, food and bar games (e.g. snooker) will be available throughout most of the sessions:

Junior:

2pm:                   Junior fun cricket (outside if weather permits, hall if not)

4pm:                   Junior awards presentation

5pm                    (approx) Junior close

Senior Men and Ladies:

7pm:                   Arrival, drinks

7:30pm:             Senior & Ladies awards’ presentation

8:30pm:             Fun quiz

9:30pm:             Raffle

10pm-close:     Drinks & music.

Ray's Race Night

Annual favourite returns

Saturday 7^th February 2026

7:00pm to 11:00pm

Probably the club's favourite social evening, Ray's Race Night returns in its 2026 edition on Saturday 7th February, starting promptly at 7pm.

Named after club stalwart, the late Ray Herridge, the evening is now kindly organised by wife, Sandra, and daughter, Nikki. 

This year's version is priced at £5 per head (payment on the door on the night please).  The price includes light nibbles and a ticket for the evening's draw.  

Members and guests can also sponsor a race at £25 or a single horse at £5.  Further information and payment via Nikki on Facebook or by email please.
