Welcome to Ventnor CC
Welcome to Ventnor CC (VCC), the Island’s most successful cricket club. In 2024, the club will field some 14 XIs across men’s, ladies and junior boys and girls. The men’s 1st XI, which over two decades, rose from the local Isle of Wight League through the Hampshire League to the top level of the Southern Premier League, will again compete in Southern Premier 1. Meanwhile off the field VCC continues to support the Island’s cricket community with a first-class training and 3-lane indoor cricket facility. This centre is also home to our junior sections and provides a fantastic starting point for budding young cricketers: some, perhaps, destined to follow former Ventnorians such as Danny Briggs, Adam Hose, Chris Russell, Steve Snell, and Mark Garaway into the first-class game. The centre is part of the club’s iconic facilities at Steephill looking out over the English Channel.
