Junior Cricket

VCC’s Junior Section comprises both boys XIs (U11, U13 and two U15 sides) and a more recent, fast-growing girls’ group.  There are both U11 and U15 girls’ teams.   All six XIs participate in the various Isle of Wight junior Leagues and Cups.

In the winter, there are also indoor leagues for U12s and U14s.  These begin in November each year.

The club is also actively involved in two introductory ECB programmes: All Stars (designed to introduce 5-8s to cricket) and Dynamos (the next step for 8-11s.

It means that there’s something for everyone. Whatever their experience. So do come on down to Steephill and join our thriving junior section. More from junior coordinator Kate Marshall  (kgmarshall1@btinternet.com).
